At its July 11, 2025 meeting, the WTCPUA Board of Directors adopted a policy regarding new service commitments. Under this policy, staff may approve Service Extension Request (SER) applications for less than 25 Living Unit Equivalents (LUEs), up to a cumulative total of 300 LUEs, provided the applicant pays impact fees in advance.
Meters may be set prior to completion of the ongoing water treatment plant expansion; however, irrigation use will not be permitted until the expansion is complete.
Applications submitted by Independent School Districts, Emergency Service Districts, or municipalities requesting more than 25 LUEs will continue to require board approval.
This policy will remain in effect until modified by the board.
