Dear Valued Customer,
On February 19, 2026, the Board of Directors of the West Travis County Public Utility Agency approved adjustments to retail wastewater rates. The updated rates will take effect beginning with the first bill you receive in April 2026.
This is the first wastewater rate increase since 2016. Over the past decade, the cost of providing wastewater service, including maintaining, operating, and upgrading critical infrastructure, has increased significantly due to inflation and rising operational expenses. To lessen the impact on customers, the Board voted to phase in the increase over three years.
The approved adjustments apply to both base and volumetric charges.
A residential customer using an average of 10,000 gallons per month will see an increase of approximately $23 per month in 2026.
