Notice Regarding Commercial Service Extension Applications
Thank you for your interest in commercial water service. Effective 3/26/26, the WTCPUA is not processing applications for commercial service extension requests due to current system capacity limitations.
To ensure fairness and transparency, the utility is maintaining an application waiting list. When an application is submitted, the system will date & time stamp the application for waiting list purposes. The application will not be processed, and submission of an application does not guarantee future water service. No fees will be collected, and no project review will occur until the application restriction is lifted. The developer contact on the application will be notified when the application is accepted for processing.
The WTCPUA Board of Directors will lift the application processing restriction once contracts for additional water supplies are in place. The utility is actively pursuing the procurement and execution of these contracts to expand system capacity and support future commercial development.

All requests for New Construction applications are now processed through My Government Online.
Sign Up for the Online Portal- You will need to Create an Account and then you can log in and under Permits and Licensing, Apply Online.
- Select West Travis County Public Utility Agency as the jurisdiction.
Please find information below related to Service Extension Request (SER) commercial projects, including SER application and irrigation demand guidelines. General Construction Notes and Plan Review Requirements are outlined for your convenience.
Upon approval of an SER project, a New Service Application will need to be submitted prior to installation of a water meter.
