Utility Owner or Homeowner's Responsbiility? A breakdown of your water infrastructure

Do you know what part of your water system is your responsibility and which part is your water utility provider's? Here's a handy graphic to help!
As a general rule, anything past your water meter toward your house is your responsibility. That includes the pressure reducing valve, water to the home shut-off valve, irrigation valve and the pipes underground past the meter.
